CALL FOR ARBITRATORS FOR THE 3RD AIAC-ICC PRE-MOOT

The Asian International Arbitration Centre (the “AIAC”) in collaboration with the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (the “ICC”) will be holding the 3rd AIAC-ICC Pre-Moot for the 26th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and 16th Willem C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot (the “AIAC-ICC Pre-Moot”).

It is our pleasure to invite you to register as an arbitrator for the 3rd AIAC-ICC Pre-Moot which will be held from the 22nd to 24th March 2019 in the AIAC’s premises at Bangunan Sulaiman, located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In last year’s edition, the 2nd AIAC-ICC Pre-Moot welcomed over 65 teams, with close to 300 participants, 177 hearings and 160 arbitrators from 21 countries. A large leap from the 36 teams in the 1st Pre-Moot, which effectively made the AIAC-ICC Pre-Moot the second largest

Vis Pre-Moot worldwide in their second annuals. In this 3rd edition, we are delighted to note that we have received registration for over 120 teams from 23 countries and we are anticipating participation of over 300 arbitrators. We would be grateful if you support our initiative and become a part of the success of the 3rd AIAC-ICC Pre-Moot by arbitrating the oral rounds. Although the Organising Committee is unable to cover the accommodation cost of the arbitrators, corporate price to our hotel partners are available to be used by the arbitrators during the period of the AIAC-ICC Pre-Moot.
